Introduction
Proactive Approaches Training Limited is deeply committed to respecting and protecting your right to privacy and takes your privacy seriously. We strive to keep your personal and financial information secure. We have prepared this privacy policy to disclose and describe our information-gathering and dissemination practices for this website.
Most of all, we value your privacy. We do not sell, rent, loan, or give your email address or other personal information to anybody without your express permission.
Collection of personal information
You can visit most pages on our website without giving us any information about yourself. But sometimes we do need information to provide services that you request, and this privacy policy explains data collection and use in those situations. Please read the complete privacy policy below in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.
This privacy policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on our website, and when you use our services. We pledge to hold all information you provide to us in absolute privacy.
We will NEVER sell or rent your name or personal information to any third party without your express permission. We NEVER sell or rent our email subscriber list.
Only authorised employees may access your information. All employees are required to adhere to our strict privacy policies and any employee who violates the privacy policy is subject to termination and other disciplinary measures, up to being criminally prosecuted for their violation.
Use of personal information
If you decide to become a customer/member, you will receive a short series of orientation emails from ProactiveApproaches.co.uk. From time to time, customers/members may receive notifications about changes to policies. We will not send you any other unsolicited email at the address you provide, except for infrequent communications to resolve issues that may arise with your own ProactiveApproaches.co.uk account.
We also offer a variety of optional newsletter and promotional subscriptions. We send these emails only to members who have elected to see them. Members can manage their opt-in and opt-out status at any time from their account settings. Special offers are sometimes sent to Basic members on behalf of third parties. But these third parties do not have access to personal information since we alone send out the emails. All recipients of third-party emails are given the opportunity to opt-out of future third-party mailings at any time.
Our site uses session cookies for admin and trainer portal authentication. These are strictly necessary for those areas of the site to function and are removed when you close your browser. We also use Vercel Analytics and a custom cookieless page tracker to understand how visitors use our site. Neither collects personally identifiable information. For full details of all cookies, localStorage items, and tracking technologies used on this site, please see our cookie policy.
When you download a free practice guide, we store your first name and email address in your browser's local storage so that the form is pre-filled if you return to download another guide. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings.
We may also use personal information in a manner that does not identify you specifically nor allow you to be contacted but does identify certain criteria about our users in general. For example, we may inform third parties about the number of registered users, number of unique visitors, and the pages most frequently browsed. Aside from these uses of user information, we do not sell, nor plan to sell any user information to anyone.
Protection of children's information
ProactiveApproaches.co.uk is a general audience website and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. While our website may be viewed by children, we do not wish to receive data from children.
ProactiveApproaches.co.uk encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate in the interactive activities offered on the sites their children visit. No information should be submitted to, or posted at, the ProactiveApproaches.co.uk web site by visitors under 18 years of age without the consent of their parent or guardian.
Links to third party sites
This website contains links to other web sites that are not controlled by Proactive Approaches Training Limited ("Third Party Sites"). Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.
This privacy policy applies to information collected by this website and by the +ProActive Approaches Partner Hub, our portal for Certified Partners.
The Partner Hub
The +ProActive Approaches Partner Hub is our portal for Certified Partners and their staff. We use the information held in the Hub to provide it: your name, email address, company, licences, and the work you do in the Hub. Partner Hub records are stored in the United Kingdom, in London. Files uploaded to the Hub, such as application evidence and course files, are stored privately in the European Union.
Sending posts to Buffer
Partners can choose to connect a Buffer account to the Hub, so that posts they have approved can be scheduled to their social media. Buffer is a social media scheduling service run by Buffer Inc. in the United States.
When you connect, you sign in to Buffer yourself and approve the connection on Buffer's own screen. We never see your Buffer password. We store the connection details Buffer gives us, encrypted, in London, together with a record of who connected it and when.
We only send Buffer what is needed to schedule a post: the post's wording, its image and hashtags, the channel you chose and the time you chose. We only send a post after someone in your company has approved it, or for LinkedIn after you have approved your own post. We don't send Buffer anything else from the Hub.
Once a post is with Buffer, Buffer holds it under its own terms and privacy policy, which you agreed to when you opened your Buffer account (buffer.com/legal). Buffer stores data in the United States and uses the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for transfers from the UK.
You can disconnect Buffer at any time from Social accounts in the Hub. We delete the stored connection details straight away. Posts already scheduled stay in your Buffer account until you remove them there.
How long we keep posts
Posts we make for your company stay in the Hub while your company is a Certified Partner, including ones you haven't used. Posts that have been used are deleted 12 months after they went out.
Changes to this policy
Proactive Approaches Training Limited will occasionally update this privacy policy. When we do, we will also revise the "last updated" date at the top of the privacy policy. For material changes to this statement, Proactive Approaches Training Limited will notify our users by placing a prominent notice on the site.
