About the Role
As our Business Development Manager/Principal Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring the highest quality of our training programmes. This position offers a unique blend of business development and hands-on training delivery, allowing you to make a significant impact on our mission to reduce restrictive practices and empower individuals and organisations.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including markets, clients, partnerships, and product/service offerings

Develop and implement strategic plans to capitalise on growth opportunities

Generate leads, conduct outreach, and pitch our services to prospective and existing clients

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners
-
Create sales forecasts and work diligently to achieve targets
-
Represent +ProActive Approaches at conferences and events to stay abreast of industry trends
-
Oversee client contracts and ensure smooth operational transitions
-
Act as Principal Trainer, delivering high-quality training programmes and maintaining consistency across all offerings

Review and enhance the Train the Trainer courses to ensure ongoing excellence
-
Provide leadership and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
-
Understand and effectively communicate the needs of new customers, responding with tailored solutions

Think and work strategically to develop and improve the business, setting clear aims and objectives

Ensure the team understands and supports necessary changes

Oversee the delivery of Training Programmes and maintain consistency in Foundation Programmes
Qualifications and Skills

Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field

In-depth understanding of trauma-informed care and attachment theory

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities

Experience in delivering professional training programmes

Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders

Proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis

Adaptability and willingness to travel for client meetings and events

Comprehensive knowledge of +ProActive Approaches’ products and services

Understanding of industry competition and market positioning
