Our Children’s Homes courses provide Trauma & Attachment Informed Behaviour Support Training for residential childcare staff.

Rooted in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and a strong values base, the training helps teams understand behaviour through a therapeutic lens, recognising that all behaviour happens for a reason and is often linked to trauma, attachment needs and lived experiences.

Delegates develop practical de-escalation skills, co-regulation strategies and relational repair approaches to support children safely, compassionately and confidently. Where required, courses may include low arousal approaches, breakaways and safe holding techniques delivered in line with RRN Training Standards.

The programme is evidence-based and focused on reducing restrictive practice (#AimingForZero) whilst supporting services to meet Ofsted expectations.
